evil h22a, why do you leak oil!!!!!
ok, got an oil leak, all over the bottom of the engine just above the oil pan. any ideas, i gotta start doin summat with it and all i can think of is the oil pan gasket. oh yeah and somehow it's got onto the tranny top?
start looking from the top up, find the uper most part of the engine that has oil on it and start their. a common problem is the cam plug, i already replaced mine, it almost looks like the vtec solinoid was leaking, but yeah start top down, and if you have to put the car on ramps, wipe as much oil away as you can, then start it and see if you can see where its someing from,
how much oil are you losing exactly?

roughly half litre every 90 miles, sucks doesn't it? theres a residue from half way up but ther's no trace of anything recent, maybe i should look harder?
look where your oil flter screws into your block,
there is an oil cooler gasket that has a tendancy to leak.
see if there is any oil dripping from the bottom of the cooler.

I'm betting it's the balancer shaft seal. This thing backs out of virtually every h22! Anyway, this was the culprit on my car too so take a look there!
