will porsche headlight work on a civic?
i have a 96 civic hatch i was wondering if the 996 porsche hid headlights would fit in the car? and if there was mods i would need to do. thanks

I can assure you that they will not be a direct replacement, it will take some fab work, and creative thinking, but I bet it could be done. Most people use BMW and Audi lamps though..

generally the bulb and lense are made by the same company for ALL of those cars...
I KNOW for a fact that the BMW ones are indentical in appearance and made by the same company (never checked part number (there are differences just not major ones) as the audi ones as well as porsche.
I'd take a look at them if they're apart and judge it from there... the big h.i.d. thread is up top now so you should probobly read that.
