opinions on this suspension quote.....
ok, i just called my local kimmel tire shop and i was quoted the following prices......
for an ingalls camber kit (front) - $139.98 ($345.27 w/alignment and labor)
toyo proxes ($119.99/tire; i forgot which tire it was though
, and that price includes mounting and balancing)
so the grand total comes to 825.23, how does that sound?
umm....i asked about kumho ecsta supra's and the rep told me that they'd cost about the same, i find that hard to believe. oh well....please lemme hear lots of feedback

I saved 50 +/- $10 on camber kit + installation + alignment over what you were quoted. Not bad but there would probably be cheaper places, price wise and not quality wise.
Tires... Get kumho ecsta 712 over those toyos if they're not the T1s even if they're the same price. What size tires are those? I got my kumhos for 100/wheel our the door.
So my total is about $700. Look around if you're not in a hurry.

I got my Ingalls front camber kit for about that much (it's been a while) but I just did the install myself. If you have tools, its not too difficult. Of course you'd want to get it professionally aligned afterwards.
the camber is about right...i paid over $1000....because of height....they need to actually go in and correct my caster by a body shop....but yea $300-$400 including labor is about right...make sure they do it right though

check the groupbuy center for a better price on the camber kit.
they usually have some pretty low prices on those! i bought mine from a guy on this board, hondaintegrals2@aol.com i think is the last email address i can remember. manchester honda is the shop he owns.

if you are getting those kumos, the 712's. well i got mine for 223 shipped from tirerack, and then had mounting and balancing done here in town for 10 bucks a tire....
ok, i'll definitely check into that, cause i coulda swore that i've seen the kumho's for like $59 each, certainly not $120, even with mounting and balancing. the only problem i may have is getting all the tires to the shop in my teg
very simple, if tirerack shipps them they come just wrapped with plasic ties, 2 to a pack. fold down your seats and you are on your way. if you are going to keep any of your old tires, make sure to bring garbage bags to put them in. oh, and for your tire size (195/50/r15) they are only 49 bucks a piece, i bought mine this summer about 2 months ago. The y will call you after ordering to make sure you got the right size, heh, they wanted to make sure that i knew i was getting a tire with a lower sidewall. I was impressed with thier customer service.
ok, but will i have to remove my rear strut bar to make room? also do you think 205/50 would be alright for my drop (2" in front, 1.75" in rear)
