to go ls/vtec...should i get a b16a2 or a b18c1?...does it really matter or can i just get the cheaper one?

You should figure out what your long term goals are for your car...then decide which motor you want to build for that.

Theres no LS there, and you already have VTEC on either engine.

lol... some say the gsr, others say the b16a... http://www.importview.com shows the gsr having more hp's in most cases, however the 16a's flow better i believe..but lower compression?

 

I say just get a B18c1 and call it a day

 

Why not an H22, or perhaps a K20.

id go for the k20 if i had the time n money

 

I'd go with a GSR build-up.

 

my friend put an h22 in his civic. There's no replacement for displacement. seriously though, his car ain't no joke.

 

i have an ls...i'm just lookin to see what the best vtec head would be for me to get....i'm also not tryin to spend that much money...if anyone knows where i could just get the head wihtout having to buy the whole engine that'd help a lot...thanks
