Default Tire Advice

I am shopping for tires for the prelude and need some advice. I am looking at either 712's, ES Yokahama 100's, Falken 451's or Bridgestone 750's.

Chances are the Bridgestones are going to be more than I want to spend so the debate is really between the first three. Anyone have any experience with any of these tires? I have heard some bad things about 712's as of late, but they are so cheap for what you get I am debating going with them anyway.

Sugguestions are welcome.

AVS ES 100's
That's what I have and I like them alot.... they arent too expensive either. I can't really compare them to anything else though.

what are you looking for? dry traction? wet traction? all season? tread life? comfort/noise?

of the 4 you listed, i guess i'd pick the AVS ES 100, but i'd rather get falken azenis for less if i live in a dry climate, or maybe falken ziex 512's if you live in wet/snowy climates. the toyo proxes 4 is coming soon and is in that price range too. the sub-100 dollar tire market is pretty slim pickin's.

They are going to be a Summer tire so I would guess Dry Traction.

Falken Azeni's. Very cheap, excellent performance.

Otherwise, I would go w/ the 712's. They are also very cheap, and are supposed to be fairly comparable to the Azeni's as far as performance goes.

if it's dry, and it doesn't rain alot, there are no street tires on the market that come close to the dry traction of azenis. esp for that price. they won't last too long, and are prone to hydroplaning but thousands of auto-xers can't be wrong.
