Why are Import/Honda rods so much more expensive than rods for domestics engines? A set of 8 rods for a Chevy or Ford run around the same prices as 4 rods for a Honda. What's up with that?
Any way...I'd go with the Eagles or original Crowers (not the econos)

crower econos are just as good, everybody here on h-t just likes to keep these bandwagons going that way when someone buys one part everyone just beleives in it and nothing else.
I agree...
But the guy asked which aftermarket rods to get. If your going to bother getting aftermarket rods then get the best you can get.
I have heard these econo rods aren't much better than stock. I'm not a H-Taddict so I don't know what other people on here think about them. I'm just speaking from my experience.
If I were this guy, boosting 10psi, I wouldn't bother with aftermarket rods.

Honestly 10psi, you should be able to get away with stock rods. If you want to upgrade- for the $ you have, go with the eagles. Unless you can come up on a deal- I got my Crower Billets for $450 BRAND NEW

Im pretty sure ben@importparts.com has an awsome deal on Eagle rods, like $325 or something.
Eagle H-beams have always worked fine for us. Lane's had them in his FI motor for 3 years and it's still running strong (only 12lbs. tho), Brian's making ~560whp on them and even though they've held up if you're lookijng for ~500whp+ (which I'm pretty sure you aren't) I would go with something else. Good Luck

that makes no sense..even tho you have seen nothing but sucess even at 560whp, you would still suggest he goes with something else for over 500hp?

Yea, it's been fine but how many people run 550whp+ on Eagles? I'm simply saying if you have the money and intend on 500whp+ then why use some cheap rods. Brian only has them in his motor cuz they're inexpensive and he also never intended on running 24lbs. Scott and I used 4340's in Duc's motor because money really wasn't an issue and we knew what kind of power we wanted. Sorry if you can't understand my reasoning.
Yea, the head is good for a lot more than that but I would recommend swapping valve springs and retainers at the very minimum. I've seen many people push stock cylinder heads farther than 14lbs. but there's always room for improvement especially if you're running a factory valvetrain. Just my $0.02 again

Yea, that's what I really say (4340's) too, even though we have used Eagles in the past with no problems. The EF1 rods that Andy has are
too.
