Default FREE sunroof plug kit for DC5 - Beta tester needed

Like the message says we are looking for a beta tester for the RSX SPK. You can see details and pictures of our newest kit (97-01 Prelude) in the link below. This is a weight reduction mod only. The prepreg carbon panel is not moveable once installed. The Prelude kit dropped 50 lbs off the very highest point on the car. Only a few oz. lighter than lexan but it looks a whole lot better plus you don't get sunburned head when you drive the car.

RACING CLASSES THAT SANCTION SUNROOF REMOVAL:

NHRA Sport Compact: All Motor, Hotrod, Pro-FWD, Sport FWD

SCCA: Street Modified

NASA: Time Trial, SE-R Cup, Honda Challenge

Note: In the above listed NASA classes the removal of factory sunroof glass is required. NASA encourages the use of carbon fiber as a replacement.

Contact me for details. Seeking testers in Salt Lake City, Utah but may be able to work something out long distance.

True it is a compromise but all performance mods are. Remember there is no other body panel you can replace on your car that will give you the same performance gains. Lowering your center of gravity is huge in any form of racing whether its drag, scca, or road racing. You drop 35lbs of vehicle weigh which is good in any case but then you consider you are removing it from the highest point of the car. I don't expect the RSX kit will be our biggest seller but as they become cheaper people will race them more and more. I know there are a few pioneers tearing into their cars now. Plus its nice to be able to offer as many kits as we can.
