does anyone use these mufflers....Aeroturbine??
Anyone running this muffler on the FI setup?? is so, how do u like them? they seem to perform extremely well...

**** that ****. bredren, the bottom line is, buy a muffler that flows well and sounds decent. if you plan on 1/4 mile racing, just drop the exhaust. i hate seeing these type of things. there is NO muffler out there that is leaps and bounds better than the other in terms of hp & tq. if you want maximum power, just make sure that your set up is efficient and tuned well. my boy had a str8 through muffler on his DA GSR and he ran 14.9's. when he replaced his muffler with a $60 chambered dynomax, he never ran worse than 14.7 and gained 2mph. was it the muffler? probably, but, he did go from a free flowing muffler to a chambered, more restrictive one. my point is this muffler **** is all b.s. make an e-cutout and done. peace

I think the point of his question was to find out if that's the case with this muffler.
I'm not familiar with the aeroturbine, but in concept it looks similar to the Moroso spiral-flow - a small straight through portion down the middle w/ a few baffles in a spiral pattern around the outside. You'll find positive reviews of them from several different sources, but I've never had any luck finding any actual flow numbers. But it supposedly has better than average noise cancellation properties while retaining near straight-through flow.
But I'd be extremely skeptical of any claims that it actually accelerates exhaust flow . . . . And for $200, I don't think it's worth it.
