The head lights got to go. Look like 3000GT. The rest of the car is cool.

Looks pretty good! I like the red seats.
I wonder what the front hood vent is for?

It doesn't looks like the NSX changed much, appearance wise. Beside the hood, front bumper, headlights and tail, what else is different. It looks like the old Nsx with some custom body work done to it.

Thats because its still based on the same Gen NSX. The next Gen with the supposed dual motor (electric) and 400HP is expected for the 2004 model year, where it will go a complete redesign. This car is for the 2002 and 2003 MY.

The CF parts on the car are a plus!

Looks like the hood vent is to simply create a better air flow over the front of the car... most likely it's acting as a front spoiler jamming that frontend to the ground.

BTW - Still looks too much like the old one... thank god it's ONLY A REVISION until an ALL new design.

Looks like HIDs. Dig the carbon fiber hood and wing.

Here is a write up on the japanese website that posted the pics:

HONDA ' the NSX ' type R specification, ' NSX-R ' exhibits in Tokyo motor show. As for concept " evolving and deepening ". Lightening the NSX which is starting point of type R to the extremity, it has improved handling and power efficiency.

As for the difference with the NSX of standard specification the front hood of the air * outlet being attached, the ria jauntily Ra, the engine compartment * cover is changed into those of the carbon make. With interior main skin volumen 3 spokes tear ring wheels and ƒŒƒJƒ corporation make carbon aramide * bucket seat et cetera of MOMO.

The aluminum wheel you adopt 17 inches of type R private light weight, as for the front tire as for the 215/40ZR17 and the rear have become the 255/40ZR17.

It also says the seats are made from Carbon Aramide. What the heck is that?

I am pretty sure carbon aramide is just carbon fiber. The technical name of Cf is carbon aramide fibers.
