Default F22A questions

Hi, I would like to know what' s the best turbo kit that fit a F22A2 for a 200+ HP goal.
By the way what' s the max pressure this motor can handle with stock internals (8PSI like on H22 or more as it has a low CR?)
Thank U
PS: does F22B manifold fit on F22A2 ?
I was thinking that I should buy a H22 kit and get a manifold that fit my engine, all the other parts of the kit should fit, right ?

Seeing as how nothing on the f22 is built for performance, i would say 8lbs would be pushing it. You could turbo it and make just as much power as you would with an h22. You would have to built the hell out of it to make much power. I guess what i am saying is to not turbo an f22! They cant take it.

why would you say that, because the hp figures are low? or do you have actual evidence the integrity of the parts is weak? I dont know so I'm asking you. Ofcourse the internals arent made to reach high rpm but with a turbo application that isnt neccesary to make some power.

f22 are under rated IMO ( no not just becuase i have one)..... They have really low compression.... word on the street is you can boost them pretty high.
If you are looking to just get into the 200HP scene, why not just swap in an h22???? A lot more reliable and vtec sure is fun.
I dont think there is a turbo made just for the f22 prelude. You would have to do some custom work with it. ( as you already stated, it didnt register lol)

If you do end up with the turbo, go to http://www.lovefab.com for the manifold

I think the h23 and f22 have the same turbo kits, I believe they have the same headers, not sure though, since the f22 has 8.8 compression i should handle more psi then a stock h22,
I was thinking about doin the same thing, boostin my f22, too make it berable, so have time to fully build an h22, and then boost the h22

I would like to have a H22 but I live in Tahiti & Honda didn' t sell VTEC preludes so no H22 available here, I think it' s easier for me to bring a Turbo kit back here than a motor, and if I need parts later it' ll be easier too to find F22 parts rather than H22, I don' t want my car to stay in a garage for a long time for a part I' ll have to wait for after I order it
That' s why I' m looking for turbo, and also I think that with the same power, the turbo F22 will be faster as the boost come quicker than the VTEC.
Anyway the turbo kit will be usable on the H22 too if later I try to get one, I' ll only have to change the manifold.
Thanks

PS: about the H23 - F22 turbo kit compatibility, does anyone know if 4thgenlude is right ? I thing it goes for the F22B, don' t know if F22B and F22A have the same exhaust manifold.

Look in accord forum. 4G accord is also f22a, I believe. The mani ports should match up with H23, but the bolts might be off a bit. I would say turbo it. Your compression is lower stock, the sleeves are a bit tougher, and the motor is cheap to replace if you blow it.

You could try the DSM route and redrill the mani to bolt up and throw the snail over on the other side to keep your PS.... but I would keep that under 6lbs boost and tune and tune....

On any well chosen and installed kit you can run safely 8 lbs and even 10 if you TUNE IT PROPERLY stock. There was someone in the accord forum running 13 stock and had no post-mortem posts yet.

Hondata all the way too.

Besides, you can bring a turbo to tahiti for far less than a complete swap... and it will give you better numbers at 7lbs than a stock H22. ... and you know its history.

GOod luck.
