Default Integra Body, RSX Engine? Is this possible?

Hey guys, newbie here. I was really into mods on my 94 Integra back in the day, but I got out of the scene just before the RSX was released. (It's hard to keep up when you're a broke college kid!) I know virtually nothing about the RSX, but my dad has gotten his hands on a wrecked RSX that was practically new. It's at the police impound lot -- was some drug-dealer's car before he wrecked it in some criminal case. He says it looks like it was driven under a truck 'cause all the damage is from the dashboard back. The engine wasn't touched. I mentioned the idea of swapping the engine out of my 94 integra (with bukoo miles on it) and putting the RSX engine in it to a friend of mine and he said it would take lots of work because it turns the oposite direction?? He then recommended me to this site. Unfortunately, I know nothing about what kind of RSX engine it is as of yet. I havne't seen it and dad's into vintage mustangs so he wouldn't know anything about an RSX engine. My dad's friend on the force said the guy was makin serious dough from his st. pharmacist job and could afford the best.
Is this possible? Would it take a lot of modification? Does anyone know of a good shop for such a swap in FL or GA?

It's possible. Check out this thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=763002 It's possible. It's becoming less and less difficult each month.

The engine is called the K20 and it's been done before.

its a good engine to put into a teg. Alot of work will be required but it will be worth it, in my opinion the k20s have more potential then our bseries motors. Plus if your dad thinks its a sweet idea make him pay for it !

Yeah Hasport is making the mount kit for it. They are here in AZ and I have seen the car they are doing. The kit is not complete yet but it is near completion.

Besides with the right about of money anything is possible.

oh, no that's now what I meant. I meant - could you do that to a 3rd gen integra - a dc. Is it interchangable?

I'll be swapping a K20 into a DC this June. I've already sold my B18C5 to help offset the cost of the project. I'll keep you updated.

Pretty soon the K series cars will be replacing the Integra on the top stolen lists.

Sad, but very true. As soon as it becomes popular to swap the K's into the newest generation of Civic's, the RSX's will start to disappear at night.

Whoaaaaa........that's real niceeee. How did the tranny bot up? Do you have any specs or info on how this swap of motor and dash was done? Why is it not running yet, what the main obstacle? I've read in a few mags lately how the B series is going to be extinct soon, and I was worried.................

That has to be one expensive swap..mixed opinions right now on the i-vtec system, but it looks pretty good to me
