what headers for 98 GSR?

whats is the best headers for the money/ i have 98 GSR. don't want to pay $700 and above. how much are jdm dc 4 to 1 headers, they make one for gsr or just type r. where can i get them? thanks

JG Edelbrock with the 2.5" collector. Trust me, you WILL BE VERY HAPPY!

DC is crap, you'll hit a speed bump and flatten them out like I did... I got a JDM ITR new in box for $403 shipped.

jdm itr headers fit GSR head? i thought ITR and GSR head has different bolt pattern.

you say that when you paid 403 shipped for a JDM ITR header, when AN-R is only 530, just a little more. When i get my GS-R i will run and AN-R header.

So the edelbrock header has a 2.5" collector? I couldn't find that on their website.

dont they make more power then a jdm itr header? jdm itr dc sport 2.5" collector. i know its got crappy ground clerance.

For me quality is important, I don't like bottoming out and ruining a header, Honda OEM ITR headers don't dent

It does not have a 2.5" collector. Their site says the collector is designed to bolt up to your stock cat with no modifications so there is no way that it is 2.5". Other than that it is a good header. They have an optional 3" B pipe that bolts to the primaries for track use... it's bad ***.

Since when, anything will dent if you bottom out with it. I did not have the ITR but I did have a JDM 4-2-1 on my JDM H22 and it was dented to **** from bottoming out on speed bumps and such when I still had the stock mushy suspension in my EJ

Only the intake side has a different bolt pattern. The exhaust side all B-series have the same bolt pattern.

No they don't but you can take it to a reputable muffler shop and change it to a 2.5" collector. Import Builders does this mod and sells them.
