Are you sure you can't do it yourself? Isn't there a procedure in the service manual to do it? You know, like resetting the check engine light - just pull the right fuse kind of thing.
Yah, j00 should be able to reset it j00rself....AFAIK only the SRS light needs to be reset by a dealer with a special t00l....so ABS reset should be doable.
BTW, what did j00 hit this time?

LOL, don't worry about it, wtf does AFAIK mean.
I tried to reset it myself once, but I fried a fuse cause something sparked! I thought I killed my imm0bilizer!

Why exactly are you holding the two cables together?
all j00 need is to disconnect the ground terminal from the battery and leave it off for a couple of minutes...

That doesn't need to be done at the dealer. Yes, you do need a special tool for the job. It's called a paper clip
. Basically, resetting the SRS light is a DIY job.

You Raaaaaaaaaang?
Press and Hold the select and reset buttons before starting the car. While holding the two, turn the key on and keep holding the buttons until the light resets (when it goes out) Then enjoy your clean, neat, and tidey instrument panel.
Oh wait. You said ABS light. **** sorry mang. Usually ABS codes will instantaniously come back when the circuit tries to prove out. You really need to see what the code is and then I can really help you. Sorry about the maintence required proceedure.

Disconnecting the battery and holding the cables together might clear the code; it allows the capacitors to discharge. The code can be cleared with the PGM-Tester, but there should be an alternate method too. I would have to look up the procedure in an Acura S.M. on Monday (should be the same as Honda), I will be at Fontana this weekend and won't be back at work until then, sorry.
