Default 2.3 liter b-series motor

99mm custom crank, from a major shop, and 86mm bore it is possable, now what kind of torque do you think it can make, i guess 180, but who know It would be a great race engine, with that long of stroke might suck on the street, last not that long, i wonder who will be the first to do it, unless some of those low 11 sec honda's have already(ie TODA) just kidding, but tell me what you guys think

They have been using 87mm x 94mm setups here in Japan for a couple years. The engine has a very short life span ...

That motor would have to be rebuilt once a year I would think.

But 170-180tq at the wheels is definitely possible with 13:1+ compression.

A cheaper route is to use a 95mm crank from the first gen Preludes in a B18 block sleeved to 86mm. You get 2207cc

Well I dont know really...but Id imagine in the 165+ ft-lbs to the wheels.

EDIT: Actually with high compression pistons...like 12:1...you'd probably see more around 175+ ft-lbs to the wheels.

The first gen Prelude crank was thouroughly investigated by me.

It was determined that it would be a neat motor, however, have a short life span, i.e. Spoon 2.0l.
