Default Toda Flywheel-mini review.

I put the Toda flywheel in my 01 ITR and it's really, really cool. I put the sticker on my back window and it made my car 0.2 quicker in the 1/4 mile

J/K.

I did put a Toda flywheel in my ITR, along with a new stock clutch. No day and night difference, aside from the improvement in pedal feel due to the new clutch. I can't tell any difference under full throttle; the car feels about the same. Part throttle acceleration was noticeably quicker. I have not experienced any problem with bogging off the line as some have reported with lightened flywheels. Overall it's a decent mod, but I am glad that I did not pay retail.

now go out and do a 5-4-3 heeltoe downshift and then report back

these types of mods really shine on track

I agree, drivetrain mods really do make the biggest difference on the track. I must say though, I liked the first review better.

Do you have problem starting the car after you put in the TODA flywheel? I'm having problem with the starter slipping from the Exedy flywheel.

No problems starting the car. Starter engagement is exactly like stock. The car has a tendency to die when first started cold now; less inertia to keep the engine running I guess. The tires break loose from time to time in first gear now if I romp on it too hard.

I had the Toda flywheel with a new ITR transmission
I made the mistake of using an ACT 6 puck clutch in it
it put a nice groove in it
so i have changed to a street strip ACT clutch & a Fidanza flywheel

but i do miss the way the first combo would engage
it revved up quicker

Are you using a B16 starter?
