Default Scammed by Kendall?

Bought a shell from him around 21 days ago. He promised the car was going to be delivered within 10-days after payment. I researched a little and found out that he sold his current ITR to a guy in georgia and told him that he was changing his current cellphone number as well as he was moving out. I called his cellphone today and he picked up but hanged up. I called again and the answer machine came up twice.

Kendall has around 3000 posts this board, so I trusted him. His full name is Gregory Kendall Fletcher and his car VIN#JH4DC23181S001121. Here are some pics of him and his car.

The Honda-Tech member name "Kendall" is now "Grizzly Adams", who is the person which he sold his ITR too.

Scammed or Anxious?

I was wondering how/why/from where the poster "Grizzly Adams" popped up in the ITR forum lately.

I have the license plate number of the car he was selling me as well as the VIN#. How can that help?

I have a cousing that is a Sergeant in the Miami PD as well as a friend who is a sheriff. I'll give them a call tomorrow to see what they recommend.

Maybe im panicking, but I don't like the idea of 21 days without any status.

I'm totally confused. I thought he was getting his ITR fixed up and sold off some other parts to fund the front end/camo project.??

This sounds bizzarre.

21 days? LOL, i've waited over 3 months for a part and I'm still not panicking.

A $2,000.00 part? I'm totally confused as well since I saw his "Camo Paint of the R" post a couple of days ago.

No, not $2k, but I just can't see how he's scamming you, but I could be wrong.

He's around often - I'm sure he'll pop in and explain.

I'm not accussing him of scam yet. But a call to inform the status would help a lot.

Alberto didn't purchase a vehicle from me, he came to me to help him find a vehicle along with the necessary parts to make it nice. Upon locating a 94 GSR shell, I then proceeded to locate a number of JDM interior pieces as well as a paint shop. All of the information was sent to Alberto via email twice, however due to internal functions of the email server, neither email was received. My cell phone has almost no reception at work, and I'm at work for the majority of each day so if anyone can get ahold of me there, consider it a miracle, and yes my cell phone will be cancelled to get another one with good reception and a local phone number.

The misconception here is that Alberto purchased a vehicle from me, when in fact he didn't. Anyone in doubt of this can feel free to ask him to produce a vehicle title, Bill of Sale, written contract, or any other documentation that would reference the sale of any vehicle from me to him. I did receive an undisclosed sum of money from Alberto for services rendered (locating the requested vehicle and parts), and I'm sure his checkbook will show record of it. As for any scamming, there was none. In fact I believe what we have here is a big miscommunication.

not responding to ims since "Grizzly Adams" is using his name. Just send an email and waiting for response.

Kendall I am surprised of the way you have distorionated everything. I will scan and provided check that I personally handed to you in which it clearly states that the sum of money was for the purchase of vehicle VIN# and a set of JDM interior pieces.

You clearly stated you were personally going to deliver the vehicle to me from NC.

By the way, our conversation on the Starbucks on Kendall DR. is in a tape. I have all the proof I need. Please get yourself a good lawyer.

Now that makes sense to me. Alberto's first post still confuses me highly.

If Grizzly Adams = Kendall, why the 'new' Kendall account?

Chris - who isn't sure why he is even posting, as this doesn't concern him at all.

Please check this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=782864. Although It says it was started by "Grizzly Adams" check the first reply at the top and you will see the name "Kendall" stating the original name of the poster of the thread.

Everything I stated is the whole truth. Just so you know, I did send a money order to purchase the vehicle in question. In fact I'm awaiting safe and proper transit for the vehicle right now (snow storms halted my first two attempts). As for any tape, offer proof that it isn't you and another person reading a scripted scene. I maintain, there was no scamming, just misunderstanding.

Wow, I didn't know anyone still actually believed the old cliche' of innocent until proven guilty. It's a shame, but 508 is right.
