i don't think its hp related.. i hvae like 73K miles on mine and i make like 200wtq.. its all in how hard you push the car from launch and stuff.

Yep, stock axle with maybe 1000 miles on it. I hadn't driven the car in 2 months, put the insurance on it...................20 miles later........
Right now its making about 150 lb ft at the wheel, it still needs some more tuning.

I agree with that. Anyone thats seen me drive will attest that I treat the ITR as a disposable item
Drive it hard, break it, fix it, drive it harder

I can.
On my 92 Sentra XE to be more precise though.
75 estimated pure NA power, but I can shear axles with the best of them.

Heh, I sheared mine... looked like it had been cut in half; right before the outer CV joint. Note to self... if ever playing at the strip again... preload my launch; even street tires can rip shiz apart.

Driveshaftshop
205ish whp, I bought a set about 8 months ago, only used for about 7K. Had to send one back a few weeks after I got it because of too much play and a "thunking" sound when turning. Then 2 weeks ago broke the other one NOT WHILE LAUNCHING. In torqueless 4th gear nontheless while accelerating to merge onto the highway. I JUST GOT THAT AXLE BACK which they replaced with a new one, but it took 2 weeks, when shipping only takes 1 day since they are like 2 hrs away from me. I had to call them 10 times over those 2 weeks just to find out what the hell they were gonna do about the warranty. Blah.
As per Rodney and a few others, Im going with Raxles.com next.

Same thing happen to my DSS axle. Replaced it with rebuilt OEM axle and have no problems.
Reason for it failing was due to a defect, as explained to me by DSS. (Although another friend had it break at the same spot) DSS replaced the broken part in a timely fashion. I have not put it back on yet, because the rebuilt OEM axle is holding the power.

Could you elaborate? Legend/TL/CL or ? Will the larger joint fit the Integra axle and hub? Something I have been wondering, but have not tried.

you are so very right. you will be picking up Driveshaft shop axles... off of the floor when they break!
they are junk, i wholeheartedly say you should stay away from them. i cannot comment on their stage 12 (?) axles because i am not a drag racer, but both their stage 1 and stage 2 blew apart under my measily 186 whp autocross car! i did not break axle shafts, but the cv's, both inner and outer, were wobbly crap within a few thousand miles at best.
i have had nothing but good luck with marty from http://www.raxles.com , but i am unsure whether he makes "drag" axles. good luck!
edit: here is a pic the last axle that gave up, with the parts cleaned up to illustrate what broke (please do not comment "that axle didn't have grease, no wonder is broke.." like the last retard that im'd me)
