i got my 1996 civic about 4 months ago, and the keyless entry was either taken out, or disconnected. ive heard that the OEM stereo is connected to the keyless entry/alarm, is this true? and if so, can i buy a new one and how do i get it to work? NEXT, throughout the 1st month i had my car i was afraid the timing belt was messed up, turns out it was the a/c clutch. it was engaging and disengaging by itself. well its been disconnected as well since then and do i have to buy a whole new a/c package or a new clutch or wiring? thanks

 

the keyless system does operate thru the factory head unit-is it still in there?
as for the A/C-you need to do some troubleshooting and figure out what part(s) is broken or operating incorrectly.get a shop manual,and start testing.
