Hey everyone, I'm a new member here. Thought I'd share some pics of my hatch. The pics are kind of old, the car looks a little different now, I got rid of the white H's, the rice inside stickers, i got an exhaust, and I got a wing. Mods are after the pics.

Umm looks very good. I like it better if the header is JDM 4-1 or SPOON 4-2-1, SPOON N1 bolt on muffler and KYB AGX struts with Kg/mm springs. Well hope u will raise the car a little bit coz I've seen screwed up shocks by coilover spring sets. Since most dampers available out there ain't short stroked ones.

Well it's great for racing, of your shifting quick the rpms barely drop at all. First and second gear are incredible because the gears are so short. In daily driving it can be annoying because you have to shift very often. There is more torque than an si so revs climb much faster, and if your shifting at three, you have to shift like every goddamn second...good thing is...I start in 2nd gear take it 3000rpm and shift to 4th. No need for 1st and 3rd gear.

When I first got the swap the car had alot of problems.
-the motor was bonestock
-dx piping
-dx catalytic
-dx muffler
-ls header
-suspension bushings were shot (lots of wheel hop, and loss of traction)
-stock suspension
-stock timing

And a driver that had learned stick maybe 3 months prior. So my first time out wasn't that great. I was breaking off 2.201-2.260 60'ft times, and running 14.70@94mph. I think now with the i/e/h I could definately break off a 14.30-14.50. I will definately get better 60ft times, and I will try to get some 15's with drag radials or slicks. Plus my car just pulls so much harder now that it's not all clogged up with the stock piping.

I borrowed my friends Gtech pro the other day, and it was clicking off 14.10's and trap speed was 97mph. The car weighs 2195 w/o me in it and complete interior. I'm gonna take it to the track as soon as I get a break from school.

 

****, I would like it better with a Spoon 421 header too. But that's some big cash your talking about there. I agree that DC sports is pretty much garbage, but this header seemed to give great bang for the buck. It's got a 2.5" collector just JDM headers, and it was only $240.

For my next header, I'm gonna be skipping Jun, Toda, Spoon, Mugen and go all out with either an SMS header, or Hy-Tech.

The Spoon muffler is almost identical when compared to the Apexi. There really isn't any need to spend the extra money. Sure Spoon stuff kicks ***, but when your a poor college student, there's no affording it.

The struts suck, the ground control I'm very happy with though. They really are very nice. The don't bounce, the are firm but the progressive wind keeps things relatively smooth on the street. When I get some cash I'm gonna be getting some GAB revolutions. They are full coiloves with available helper springs and pillow ball mounts. The shocks also have a shortened stroke do accomodate dropped cars.

My car was only that low when I was on stock shocks. It's a little higher now, that I gave slighter higher profile tires. 205/45-16 compared to 40's before.

 

Man i love that color EG, its just a nice car. Clean and B18c's always make em better.

As far as that Carbon Lip you like. Benen Ind GREAT LIPS stronger than spoon!!!

Sweet hybrid hatch MaxBoost. Me likes a lot. What year is the motor? Do you have the IAB hooked up?

This is just a rough draft of what he wants to do, it's not his fault he has some pretty good photoshop skills and made it look believable.
