hey guys exhaust question?
Im building a custom cat-back exhaust. Im buying 2.25 inch piping from nappa auto parts and im buying the gasket for the catalytic converter.i already have the muffler. How do i hook the new piping to the cat if its not bolt on? do you guys have any tips on installing exhaust please help thanks!!!
umm scrap everything and start with a 2.5 inch exhausts...if it isn't bolt on you'll prolly need to weld it all together at a muffler shop...btw jsut wondering are the pipes at NAPA mandrel bent?

What do you plan on doing with a straight pipe? you are trying to make a cat back exhaust system right and since all you have is a straight piece of 2.25" piping you are probably going to need someone to bend the pipes for you and weld everything together...unless you want an exhaust system that goes straight from the cat out the back of your car but i dunno how that will do for groud clearance though...might as well go to the muffler shop and get the right sized piping and in the process save yourself some trouble
