Spring install on an rsx isn't that tough, just a pain in the *** espicially getting to the rear strut tower......i recommend a nuematic impact wrench for those huge bolts that hold the strut in place

I dont see why you have to disconnect it in the first place. Just swing the unconnected assembly out of the wheel well and Impact the bolt off the top, I did it like that and the spring didnt even need to be compressed. Kinda dangerous though - should have compressed it.
