im converting my dx to mpfi...4 wires come out of the ecu for the injectors(i know which ones go where)than the other 4 wires off the injectors go to the resistor box but where does the other wires off of the resistor box get power from?Does it matter where or can i just get it from any 12volt source?

 

the yellow/black wires that came from the dx injectors. Just splice the two together, and run the one spliced wire to the yellow/black on the resistor box.

 

i thought the yellow/black wires from the dx injectors were gonna be used for two of the new injectors power...anyways...im just converting a dx harness i had for use on my drag car so can i just run the resistor power to any switched 12volt?

 

yeah, theres two injectors, and two wires on each injector, which would make 4 wires.

Injector #1(DPFI)
the yellow wire from the DX injector goes to the #1 injector (brown wire).
the yellow/black wire goes to the resistor box

Injector #2(DPFI)
the red wire from the DX injector and run it to the #3 injector (blue wire).
the yellow/black wire goes to the resistor box

I have no idea if you can just run it to a 12V power though to tell ya the truth.
