Default crapola the brain is weird

Well I woke up yesterday morning in the hospital, at about 4 a.m., someone telling me that what I was saying at the moment, I had said 6 or 7 times before. However, it felt like they were waking me out of a nice long nap. From what they tell me (because I have no recollection, and according to Doc, probably never will), I was doing my 19th slow wheelie, and mid wheelie the big started leaning way over to the left. I guess it went all the way over before I had time to correct it, and I landed straight on my head. My helmet is trashed (Thats why I always wear one, I would apparently be dead right now, considering my helmet cracked all the way through), and my hip also hurts pretty bad and I can barely stand on my left leg . . . what a night . . . the brain is weird . . . My engine cage did its job though, my bike is fine! Freestyle Ingenuity baby!! Anyone else wake up in the hospital with people trying to convince them of something? what a weird weird feeling . . . . .

i am really trying to recognize "stunting" as a valid niche in the motorcycling world, but its not going too well for me.

lol if I had pics, I'd probably freak out, cuz like I said I don't remember even a second of being out there where we were . . . I wish I would've gotten it on video, it would be like that Adam Sandler movie 50 First Dates haha
They said I got up, walked around a little bit, I even lowered my idle (I bump my idle to about 3k and leave the throttle alone and just use the high idle to keep it at the balance point and the back brake to keep from falling back farther than I want to), I was checking my bike and ereything . . . I don't remember 1 second of that. In fact, yesterday I started my bike up to make sure all the oil was burnt out of the combustion chambers, and after my bike warmed up, I noticed my idle was normal, and I went "why would I be stunnin with my idle so low" lol . . .

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe guys running in AMA and Moto GP have had a concussion before . . . in fact, NFL players do, Hockey players do, even Baseball players have . . . But I guess right now I'm not really in a place to defend it lol

Thanks alot man, its a really creepy feeling to know that if I had ditched my helmet, I'd be dead . . . gives me the chillie ******* . . .

i am glad you're recovering well, but i get the impression that stunters are just people who couldnt get a job with the circus.

Definatley great to hear youre okay...

I say I "woke up" in the hospital cuz thats the first time I remember anything . . . I apparently was awake the whole time though, even telling the doctor twice that "I apologize, but I don't remember who you are" lol . . .

Glad to hear you were wearing the proper protection while doing your thing...

I would say this to you (granted, I'm not a stunt fan, but if its your bag, then so be it...)

Every time you decide to stunt again, take a GOOD look at that helmet of yours and ask yourself 1 question....

Is it really worth it?

I realize that riding is dangerous in general, but do you wonder if you are tempting fate by going beyond just riding?

Stay safe, we don't need to loose any more riders this year.....
