Hi everyone...our new 2004 manual transmission Honda CRV has only about 1,000 miles now, but we have filled the gas tank a number of times....my most recent calculation has it getting about 17mpg. The weather conditions are good, and no real stop and go traffic either. A friend has a 2003 CRV and said his only disappointment has been the gas mileage too. Is there a break in period for the new CRV? The dealer said no!

Can I expect to get the advertised 22-26 mpg? Are there any known issues with the CRV and gas mileage.
