Default ITR FRAUDULENT SELLER!!!!!! BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY!

I was looking on ebay and just searching around for an ITR and came across this one. I was verys suspect that he was selling a 2001 ITR for 8k and was in Germany and offered free shipping. Then I rememberd seeing an auction for the exact same car last week or so...you look and decide I emailed the guy and am waiting the response from him...We all need to email the scammer so that he takes his auction down. Unbelievable!

ORIGINAL ONE FROM FLORIDA!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=5335

SCAMMER AUCTION FROM GERMANY!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=5335

hmmm current seller seems legit and has 100% 65 eBay rating. gonna contact the seller to see if they will accept a secure payment type like Escrow.

wow, only $8K, too bad it's too good to be true, must be an error in listing. if not, i'm gonna have a new toy for the summer

It's safe to say that the this person's account has been hacked into. So the theif found a completed auction and is now trying to make a fast buck. Hopefully the Ebay community knows better. I think it would seem more legit if the price was much higher.

yeah you're probably right. guess the eBay user filled out one of those spoof emails requesting eBay user information.

warning to all eBay and PayPal users, never ever fill out an email requesting user information. they will never legitatlely ask for it.

Agreed. It's merely a matter of time before ebay becomes a place where decent law-abiding citizens refuse to go.

haha i saw the samething just a minute ago...its too good to be true i emailed him and got this back...

Hello there,
let me tell you about the car you want to bid and about me.
I live in Berlin, Germany and the car is here too.
The price include shipping and handling.
It will de delivered with Car Shipping from Autoshippers insured in 7 days from the
departure. Will be delivered in best conditions. All the manuals for the car and the original
documentation are in English. Are made for US market and have US specs on it (speedometer in miles). You will receive this along with all papers and recipts that you need to register it in your name. You will receive the TITLE,keys, owner manual...It has a Clear Title and all are in Showroom Condition.
Again, there are no other fees and charges just the price.
The car: excellent condition.I mean you can go to any authorized service center and you will be provided with free professional assistance concerning whatever problems you may have.In order for you to receive such an assistance I will send you along with the product all the necessary documents, including an invoice with your name on it as "the buyer".
No damages,no scratches or dents,no hidden defects, clear title, and it is as advertised,it
passed the test emissions and comes with all the documents you need to register the car.The price for this car is US $8000 with shipping and handling charges included. The title is clear and in my possession so we can close the transaction as soon as funds are transfered. If you want to be approved you have to make the payment via Money Order because it's the best way to handle an international deal like this..After the payment is received i will ship the car to any location you wish. You will test it 2 weeks. 2 weeks later you can contact me and ship the car back to me if you dont like it and i will pay the shipping or you.If you agree the terms,we can get this deal moving.
I apreciate a faster reply by your side.

this is hilarious and then i asked him how the car got there and if he was a dealership and got this(dont know what pricat means)...

I am not a dealer.I am pricat seller. The car was shipped to Germany.

he says his name is Eugene Pearce

simple.

find a scanned copy of a us postal money order online, use a high quality color printer (double sided) and make it out to him for $8000.

He'd get a surprise of a lifetime when he tries to cash it.

There is a huge debate on this on Team-Integra. Here's why it looks bad:

-Guy claims to be in Germany, but pictures are obviously from the US
-$8,000 for a car with a Blue Book value of $16,000+
-Photos have been seen on other ITR auctions
-IP trace showed him to be in Turkey (not totally out of the ordinary, but still a bit weird)
-WTF is a US-spec ITR doing in Germany? (maybe a US soldier brought it with him?)
-Spouts IDENTICAL replies to anyone who e-mails him
-eBay will only cover you up to 90% if he rips you off, meaning you still lose $800
-55,555 miles sort of a strange number
-Icky yellow pedal covers

My father has always said, "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

(BTW, someone else found a 2002 M3 for $8,000....not from the same seller, but has similar fishy things about it)

Hello,
If we use Escrow i will have to wait a lot of time until i have my money.I offered you a very good price and i cand afort to lose time and money. My bussines is not very big and i just cannot accept having my money/merchandise stuck to thirdparties. I have to move fast to actually "survive" in this bussines.
Best Regards!!!

hello,

why is this the same car that was sold in this auction here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=5335 ?

is this a legitimate sale? if so, are you accepting any secure payment types like Escrow if the buyer were to pay the fees associated with it?

thanks much,

Thats pretty funny. In the second one it says from the UK. And if he lived in Germany....wouldnt the car have a H and not a A for Acura. And I notice it was at a Subaru dealership. Sorry I was in Germany for 4 years and never saw one. Or even an STI!?!? Weird...I also see American cars in the background of the pics. I see a Ford. Big scam....blah

The seller seems to have perfect feedback, so it looks like the account has been hacked into and the hacker changed the e-mail in the hacked account.

From Turkey? Figures. Never trust a seller from the middle east. I once saw a website that sold Xboxes for $150 back when they retailed at $300. They said on the site that they are in the US but when I inquired about it, they asked me to send a money order to Pakistan. I though screw that!

If anybody buys it, the seller will ask the buyer to send the money to Turkey and the seller will have an excuse like "I am selling it for my cousin who lives in Turkey."
