I just bout an 89 accord with 270000 miles on it for 800. It run pretty good other than iv allready had to buy a new cluch and power steering pump. the pait is faided all to hell and the check engine lights allways comes on like 5 mins after i start driving. tell me what you think.

 

all depends what you want to do. if the body is good (under the bad paint), and you're going to rebuild it anyway, its probably a good deal. if you wanted a daily driver you probably shd buy something with lower miles, or at least have made sure it has had all its service done.

 

the cel after 5 minutes of driving sounds like some kind of carbon build up. Run a FUEL SYSTEM (not just injector) cleaner. Then try a throttle body cleaner. Good buy man. These hondas will run forever.
