if i were you i would go with the zex stage 2 cams , i have built 4 b16's now with zex cams and zex spring and retainers and all of them were all motor and put 200 whp to the ground and they were only running 10:5-1 compression, i am actually putting a motor together for my car using the zex stage 2 cams , in my opinion zex makes the best bang for your buck when it comes to camshafts...

Are you sure you can use Zex valve springs with stage 2 cams ? because, with single springs at exhaust and 11.5mm of lift, i broken the engine at 8600rpm !
I advice to not use zex valve springs.
But these cams are very powerull !

Hum.. yes but z6 don't take 8800rpm and don't have 12.4mm of lift intake and 11.4mm exhaust...
I think there is a real problem with springs for DOHC Vtec

true... comp cams only makes single springs, not duals like the b-series seems to need to handle their revs... but for a SOHC, their single springs seem to work out just fine.
