JUST got my car running-Full head rebuild, cams,retainers, ect. ect

Bringing the car home from getting exhaust welded up, (no exhaust gasket).
Revving her out to 8500ish, its pulling hard as hell
I get home, and notice my temp fluxing and smoking from my motor, get out, and check:

OIL IS EVERYWHERE On the Tranny, COVERING the entire Pass. Side Suspension Asembelly, Wheel, ENtire Tranny DRIPPING in oil. The Back of my headlight and where the ABS unit would be is sprayed in oil.

I fill the oil back up, and pull into my driveway, hammer it a little, and it pulls perfectly.

It does not seem to be the headgasket, vtec selonoid.

ALso, the Headgasket and up Is not touched in oil, the intake side is clean as hell, as well as the firewall...

IM STUMPED

 

your sure it didnt come out of the tranny? may want to check the axle to diff rubber ring... dont know the proper termnolgy

there has to be something there. Also did the shifts seem to be hard? that or you got some cams seals that are leaking real bad! it might not be it but I am just imagining a motor ( I dont like doing it hehe) good luck man

 

shifts were easy...Tommaro im going to :
Clean off all oil (gonna take awhile lol)
Add oil if needed
Check compression
Turn car on and find that damn leak

 

check your axle seals" and your oil dip stick may have put oil in the wrong place that needed it.

 

Bolts on the vtec selonoid were not tight enough! (that attach to head)

sure it was oil?

taste it, it should taste like a warm butterscottish rubber..

if it tastes like tangy sweet old milk, then its tranny juice.
