flat tire
has anyone tried a sealant used to cover holes in a tire? what brands do you recommend? i refuse to pay 40 dollars to get it patched if i can pay 7 and it works just the same....
It should only cost 10-20 max to fix your flat...go to walmart or some place like that and it should be cheap....or any other parts place like pep boys or somehting...iv enever used fix-a-flat though...sorry...good luck
i actually had a nail in one of my tires and i have 225/40/18 and i went to NTB (National Tire and Battery) and its only $15 and its supposed to be like a new tire..all they do is grind the inside of the tire down so it is smooth and the use patches...
the thing is i have really crappy dunlops that im running on right now, and $15 is out of my price range...if buying a $7 can of sealant will suffice, im there.....
it costs between $5 to $10 to patch it up...
tire sealant is only temporary from what i hear...basically just to get you to where you need to go...it's also flammable...so if you put that stuff in, don't have it patched up...
