usually, $20.

The place i bought my tires from gives me free flat repairs for the life of the tires.

if the hole is to close to the side wall then youll need a new tire if the tire is still good then just have them patch it. did you drive on the tire while it was low check your side wall condition if you have a dark line about 1/5 inch wide around your side wall you may have internal damage on the tire do to not having enough air pressure so if the tire is fine and just has a nail in it just have them patch it

i usually have mine plugged, they just stick a plug in the hole and it's like $5. no need to remove tire or anything.

True, i've got one right on the shoulder and they're bloody new tyres! Can't be repaired so i have to re-inflate the sodding thing every other day. You can actually hear it leaking all the time, and when i washed it today my tyre was blowing huge bubbles at me!

yea same thing happened to me, when i was comming home from sa and realized that i had a little nail stuck on the shoulder as well. took it to the shop and they pointed out to me that there was a 6inch nail in my tire and had rubbed all over the side wall since my tires where 205 40 17's.

Just take it to the gas station. If the tire can safely be patched it will cost like $10. I've had a couple nail punctures in my tires over the years, each time costing me a grand total of $10.

The real thing is, people should be more responsible with their nails and screws.
