Lightweight crank pulley - increase power?
I am ready to buy crank pulley from e-bay. I want to know how's different with the lighten crank pulley. I also ready buy CAI system. Is that nesscesary?? What brand do you prefer?? Thanks a lot!!

i had a short ram intake and i actually loss power. i think it varies depending on your specific setup. ill stick with my cold air system
The biggest advantage to a lightweight crank pulley is increased engine responsiveness. You should see some slight power gain as a result of reduced parasitic drag, but the increase in power is virtually insignificant compared to the effects of a more freely revving motor.
As for intakes, I've gone from an RS Akimoto short-ram, to an AEM CAI and now back to stock. My advice is not to bother with aftermarket intakes. I am most satisfied with the OEM airbox. If you need the virtually imperceptable increase in power you get from an intake you can always remove the airbox and resonator tubing from the stock system.
