Default 2002 SI Steering Wheel into EK (Cruise Control Wiring)

Here is a picture of the 2002 Si wheel in my EK. I used the factory grey connectors from the EK so I didn't have to splice into the SI wheel harness at all for resale purposes later on... Strip the three green wires from the factory harness about 1 CM long. Twist the wires individually so the Copper Wires are tightly wound. (These are going to be place into the SI's adaptor (GREEN)) With the SI's connector having the wires in this order: Grey, Blue, Red insert the grey wires from the stock connector in order from left to right with the RELEASE BUTTON of the stock connector facing you! Once this is done use electrical and wrap the grey wires and tape them securely to the GREEN adaptor. Once this is done you are all set and ready to put it all back together!

Another pic...

And the complete done deal...

Hope this helps....

Anyone who has/or knows where to get a JDM DC5 wheel or airbag please let me know...

One more thing...How do I get out of Trail user so I can use the IM and avatar features here? I did a search but didn't get a definite answer. Thanks.

nice writeup, do you have a friend with an EG who'd like to experiment and see if the EP wheel will fit an EG?

Rick good idea for the write up! its gonna be useful to other members such as myself!

Did you get all my emails lol?

You can get the DC5 wheel from EBAY thats where i got mine from. There is one for sale right now and it ends in three days!

If u do decide to buy that wheel, do know that you can use the USDM si steering wheel outer cover so that you have the hole for the cruise switches!

I recently bought that at honda for my JDM wheel!

The 92-95 Civic has a different spline then the 96+ Civics. So no, the EP3 wheel will not fit. Only the DC2 JDM wheel will fit the 92-95 Civics.

The spline is what this goes onto:

The EG and DC2 have the same splines so those wheels are interchangeable!
