Default S. Florida DIY day (pics) and motor mounts

I put a thread in the Appearance/Cosmetic section of our DIY day down at
k-series' place in SFL. We had 6 or 7 ep3s being gouged, plus an SRT-4 just
hanging around.
The thread with the pics is here.

At the DIY day, I put the ES Motor Mount inserts on my car (an Si). What a b!tch
they were to install (would have been easier with a lift or had I known what I
was doing). But, they seem to have made a great improvement and the in-cabin
vibration, while definitely noticeable, really isn't that bad. This is probably competing
with the RSX-S sway bar I have for cheapest but most effective mod. Highly
recommended. I'm hoping to do a DIY guide later this week.

Was also hoping to install the double X brace I bought, but ran out of daylight.
Should get around to that this week, too, so I'll post impressions when I do. I'm
hoping it will be enough to tighten up the front end significantly and to avoid
even using an upper strut bar (especially one that doesn't bolt to the firewall).

This really was a good time. I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, but that's what weekends are for. (Valve cover and new gauge pod)

Next time, maybe we'll lower somebody's car! Oooohh aaaahhh.

Sweet pics, Its neat to see all those EP3's at the same house. Is the owner of the SRT-4 an ex-Honda owner or something. I also liked the boosted shot of the SS EP3.

I am hoping to have my race header soon for my "S" and it comes with those inserts.

The SRT-4 was just a friend of one of the ep3
drivers. He seemed a tad cocky, but an under
$20K car that runs 13.2 will do that to ya.

i heard that the boosted ep ran the srt-4 and the ep kept up with him with no problems at all. (srt-4 ran a 13.2)

Yup, the SFP EP3 is putting down like 315whp. Nice whip. Now, I just need to beef some things up and catch up with him.

That's pretty cool. I bet the neighbors were like WTF is going on. 4 ep3's in pieces in their neighbors driveway and a bunch of kids with tools ******* around. The srt-4 is no longer under 20k. So everyone stop with that ridiculous argument. It starts at 20,995 with no options.
