How often do you have to drain your catch can?

Default How often do you have to drain your catch can?

Just wondering how often you guys have to drain your catch? Mileage wise. I've been boosted for over 1,000 miles now and nothing is showing up on the fluid level indicator yet. Guess that means good ring seal? Thanks.

I do mine every oil change. By then there is about 1/2-3/4 cup of fluid in it.

ive got 8k miles on my peon srt4. so far I think a few drops have come out, and it was a clearish liquid, prolly just condensation...

I have it hooked up as a PCV valve (not the endyn block breather way).

The PCV line is going from my stock black box to the side of the catch can. Then on top there is a PCV valve stuck in a gromet. Then the "out" line goes to the intake manifold (where the stock PCV valve went).

So it's the "stock" PCV setup, except it pulls the oil vapors out of the mix before sending it into the IM for complete burn.
