Prelude Castor Kit
Hey Guys
A question not many of you may have been asked before, but does anyone here have a castor kit on their prelude ( I require a kit for my 5th Gen Prelude S, non/ATTS model?? I know Specialty Products (http://www.specprod.com) have them, but they are not orderable from their website. I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy a set or an alternate manufacturer, etc etc, please let me know, I am really finding it impossible to buy one.
Cheers
Matt

caster is the angle from your front wheels to the steering wheel...it extremely hard to explain......on a bike the front wheel is almost under the handle bars which makes the turning quicker, out cars the wheels are way in front of the steering wheel which makes the turning not as quick, and i dont think there is anyway you can change the caster
Look at a shopping cart wheel. Thats is called a castor wheel and where they origionally got the term from. But ues it is the angle from the steering box to the front wheels.

caster is some waht adjustble from the factory, u and add or take away shims on the stock radius rod.
cAster adjsutmetn is a very important when u want to dial in ur suspension. General rule of thumb is bumping the caster up a bit gives you better high speed stabilty and turn in. It also makes the steering wheel a bit harder to turn though, and with too much caster, you'll be snapping axles all day long.
For drag racers, you usually wanna run as little caster as you can, this sets the wheels further back in the wheel well, and will sorta pull down the front end of the car when you launch.
