Hey guys, what did you use for your exhaust piping, here is what i have
I have a stock d16y7 hatch exhaust and i was wondering if the d16y8 catalytic converter will bolt onto this exhaust as well as the greddy 15g downpipe. It looks like the b pipe of the hatch seems longer than the coupe (d16y8). Does anyone know if these will fit? I just need to get the kit installed

it will not bolt right up...

d16y7's have the cat in the header(or exhaust manifold)
so the b pipe and exhaust piping are made for that exact design...

you can put an ex cat in there no problem just have to have some piping cut out and a flange welded on so the cat will bolt up..

or buy an ex exhaust system

take the ex cat and you car to a muffler shop and tell them to get it done.

the greddy kit was designed on the ex, with the cat after the b pipe so it should line up, if not it should be pretty close...the muffler shop will have no problem getting it done right.
