A ? for all you Greddy Powered SOHCs...
Hey guys, Im about to put a greddy turbo kit on a d16y7. I already have the d16y8 intake manifold, but am not sure what I need to do about an exhaust. I know that it would be wise to upgrade to 3 inch piping, but right now, Im trying to keep some money in case anything goes wrong and dont want to spend the 300 dollars or so for a custom exhaust. My question is, since the D16y8 has a seperate exhaust manifold and cat, will i have to get another cat so i wont be running open header (hope this makes sense)? Thanks guys!

yes you will. and its shouldn't cost you 300 bucks for custom 3 inch pipeing. I would run 2.5 with no cat and have a fairly stright through muffler

nah mang....havent even really checked...thats what i figured it'd be (also planning on running the stock muffler since the baffles fell out already so its straight through) but I guess maybe Ill go see about it since everybody seems to think I can get it pretty cheap!
EDIT: Dang Ed...its been a while, hows the new "all terrian" civic coming man???
