skunks stage 2's... ive searched....
i know this have been covered a billion times before. ive searched but did not find the info that i am looking for.
i need someone with decent knowledge about them in a gsr....
i know in order to utilize stage 2's full potential, it needs high compression, better flowing head. and all the basics (i/h/e/cam gears/valvesprings,vafc......)
has anyone used them with a stock gsr compression and stock gsr IM?
any other insight is appreciated

Not to be an *** but I was thinking of the same thing earlier and its just this simple you said it your self. For the full potential you need the essentials as you mentioned so with stock compression and stock IM the cams wont be at full potential im sure you will feel a diff but not much.
I have a friend who is running the stage 2's with the stock compression, and the stock IM. To my knowledge, he's had no problems with it at all. He only uses a VAFC with the setup.

True.
If your going to use stage 2's. pop the head off and raise the compression a bit.

is there positive proof that, while running stock compression and stock intake manifold in a c1, the gains will roughly be the same as using stage 1's?
head will be removed and a thinner head gasket might be used.
please.. i need some insight from someone who used or currenntly using this setup to back it up, thanks.

yes running stage 2's on a basically stock gsr motor will net about the same gains with a stage 1 if not LESS.
YOu would be "overcamming" basically. So i would stick with a less milder cam.
