Default Removal of Rear A badge

Is this just a pry it off type deal or is better to go in from the underside? I am sanding down my trunk in preperation for a weld up this weekend and wanted to see how others did it.

Hmm I tried this technique because I didnt know that they meant by floss and it put a hole in my hatch! this is terrible why would you say something like that!

hehehe just kidding. I posted this because I wasnt sure if the emblem was fastened into the hatch somehow and before tearing it a part I figured I'd ask.
