Default 500hp turbo for a T4 flange?

I've been thinking hard. I am selling mt current setup for a new goal, I want 500whp out of a SOHC :D Basic goal is ~500hp at the track/dyno, less on the street. So if I size it for 500hp or slightly lower I should have decent spoolup.

It's not like this is happening tomorrow, but I am looking at parts now and want some ideas on turbo/manifold selection. I pretty much have the internals and drivetrain all picked out. I'm going for indestructable internals, I want this to be daily driver reliable.

Thanks,
-Dustin

Okay, I'm thinking T03/T04E. Opinions?

I would run a precision SC61 with a T3 housing. No sense running a T4 housing for 500 WHP, that just means more lag.

I have a friend running a Z6 with a T4.

check it

The page is old and he lost the geocities password so it hasn't been updated.

I have been in the car a few times and the turbo doesn't lag very much.

Precision T4 turbo 500+HP starting from 23 pound on B18C stock bore. Basically from my car with T4 turbo, I have to run above 23 pound to break 500HP. I think I can do it with less boost from a agressive tune.

500whp SOHC, daily driven reliability.

Can you pick anything that's more impossible?

What kind of whp do you make now? And why 500whp?

Yeah, hard, but I'll get it done, I hope

I was running 12psi on a D16A6 w/ stock internals. Most estimates put that around 180-200whp. Finding a dyno around here is tough though.

I think it will take longer to get bored of 500whp.
