Default Quick smog question about reverting back to stock...

Alright, the time has come to smog my 2000 Si. Basically the place I am taking it to doesnt care about visual inspection too much. I already took it there, but I failed the emmissions portion. Now, since they do not care about visual TECHNICALLY couldnt I just leave my turbo manifold, turbo, and downpipe all bolted up, and just run my air filter like a short ram intake? I would also change injectors back to stock and put the stock ECU back in because I have hondata. All this smog guy cares about is if he can run the OBD-II scanner and if it's clean out the tailpipe. Would this work if I just kept the turbo bolted up, but ran a short ram and stock injectors and stock ECU? I have a cat with the 02 sensor still in it. thanks
