ej1 sohc turbo need smog test for registration
Hey everyone
Its that time of the year and i need to get a smog done on my 1993 civic jdm
d15b vtec turbo. I recently went to the smog shop where they said that my car will fail if i get it tested. So i have been very hesitant on paying for a smog just to get it failed. Then i got a number for the REF from the worker at the shop, he told me to say it wont pass and to see what I can do from there. He also told me about illegal smogs
but I dont know if I want to risk someones smog license for my sake. If anyone has went through this process and knows what i should do, your advice will be appreciated.

Your car will not pass the smog period. I work for a state ref. Just get an illegal smog done there is no way around it. Or convert everthing to stock form

might be a dumb question but what exactly would i need to pass smog if i take off the turbo setup,
stock exhaust manifold, stock intake, is there any thing else i would need?
