Default What Height?

Hey all, I am about to get some H&R Sports (if AndyD replies my emails). I want to confirm that these springs are ok for a daily driver. Some people have commmented that the 4g Prelude is already so low. I dont want to bottom out easily. PLease express any concerns with this. I really would like to get progressive springs. What is probably the ideal height in a 4g lude for everyday purposes but still loooks and handles well?

the H&R's sprots give the car an agressive drop, not so much as of the Race...
if youre so worried about being too low, get coilovers

i had my lude was lowered 2" all around with progress springs. The springs sucked cause they were on factory struts. The ride was rough. But it looked nice. I had no problems getting around. My only problem was with my body kit. If you have a kit i would so no way...but if you are factory as far as appearance i would say progress would be fine. I am riding on H&R race springs. They lower 1.9" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. This looks better than an even drop cause the 4th gen ludes sit a bit higher in the front. I have yet to bottom out or anything. It gives a great, aggressive appearance. Good ride quality with after market struts. I did not have to get a camber kit with my set up, i only had to adjust toe. My alignment chart stayed in the green.

I am only doing h&r sports. I really cannot afford to shocks to right now. Would you not get the sporings if you were going to be on stock shocks?

i got neuspeed sport and as i heard they are the same as H&R sport, made in germany and **** like that, i dont like the ride because its on stock shocks, but the drop looks good with stock wheels, i wanted to go lower but didnt had money to pay for shocks and camber kit, and youll be fine with H&R sports and stock shox as long as u take it easy , its not even THAT low

yeah but eibachs tend to keep settling over time, past what they are originally suppose to lower the car.

H&R and Neuspeed springs are different from what I've known - the springrates differ between the two companies. IMO, H&R's are better than Neuspeed.

I have H&R Sports on my 3rd gen Prelude, and I absolutely love them. They are great for a daily driving, as well as some spirited driving... if it's a near track-only car, Race springs would be better.

Do you know the springrates on all those?

And I think shocks are obvious, even if it's only Tokico Blues.
