Front ST Sway Install
God damn the front bar is a bitch to install. Does anybody know of an easier way to tighten the nuts which need an allen wrench to hold the bolt still? Right now I have a friend holding the allen wrench while I pull like a motha f@#$er on the wrench. They sucked when I took them off, and putting them back on is killing me.
actually i just did it and the front was the easy one the rear can be a paint, i did not disconnect exhaust fo cat to do front or rear but then again i had a lift to do it on
Really, I thought the rear was a piece of cake, the front SUCKS. I don't have a lift, but that would make it much easier. My lude is on stands right now, I didn't have to unbolt the cat to get it through either. You didn't have a problem w/ those nuts? Maybe because you had it on a lift and had more leverage, but I am struggling. Did you do it yourself or did you have another person holding the bolt still w/ an allen wrench?
i did not do it, i had one of the mechnics at work do it so it looked easy, maybe that might explain it more,, it took him less then 20 mins to put my car on a lift put bars on take it off of lift,, he has tools on tools, its a nissan dealership and hes a high production mechnic. but it took him less then 2 mins on the front sway
the rear took him a little more.
the rear took him a little more.
