Been covered b4 yes.
Es Motormounts supposedly stop the hop.
What is the benefit of the J's Racing Engine Damper?
Would the Engine Damper + ES motormounts cause any harm? Make any annoyances? Any excess stress on anything?
Is this a good combination to eliminate any problems that are occurring? Is this over kill? Any other possiblities that would be better?
Any opinions or points anyone would like to bring up are more than welcome...
thanks a lot

The only reason to go for the racing damper, I believe is due to "comfort" issue. Some people believe that the ES mount inserts increase in-cabin vibrations too much. The racing damper doesn't really do this. They both accomplish the same end result--however, the ES inserts do a better job of it. It's really a preference issue. I suggest just buying the mounts--if you can live with the vibrations that some complain about, then you're good. If you can't, you're only out $20.
Yes, you can use both----but why?

I have the J's TD and I don't really have any complaints about the cabin vibration.......its really only at idle and when the AC is on.........but it did eliminate wheel hop to a great extent
although they can be kinda hard to find.........I know that clubrsx doesn't carry J's or Ingalls TD's but you could find one in the for sale forum there.....

I have the J's racing dampner and it works wonders. I can launch at 3000 with stock tires and not get wheel hop. When I get a a Type R tranny I should be able to launch like at 5 k and have no probs.
in my opinion the j's td isnt designed very well and loads up too much stress on one motor mount - yes i had the j's td and i sold it not because of vibrations (which there were plenty of) but because the engine mount it connects to cracked from the constant forces applied.
the best combo to eliminate wheel hop would be the ES MM and a good coil over setup!!

i cant believe u keep the gas on all the way to red line. I have to let off real soon because the knocking becomes so great i can swear im going to rip a wheel off...

I installed my motor mounts and loved it but the vibs at idle sucked but i did solve it it still vibrates but not that much.Iadjusted the throttle cable tension. It raised the idle to 900 rpm and the car is more responsive this way and doesnt dip to far down when i shift or at take oof

Did it crack the metal part, or the rubber inserts...Can you elaborate.

i have es motor mount inserts...they worked for awhile....then the hopping came back. this summer i drag raced the car almost everyweek. so i guess they wore out. eventually i broke the rear motor mount. im not the only person that this has happened to...other on clubrsx have gone through the same problem as me. the best solution i heard is to get both (j's td and es motor mounts) good luck
