Well my friends and i went to RPM indor karting in Sacramento for my birthday and me being the cockey *** that i can be was talking all kinds of **** to my friends when my best friend said,"just because you drive a type R doesnt mean ur gonna whoop our *** out here. He was severly mistakend i was one whole second faster than anyone in our group. the only thing that i can't believe is i was 2 seconds slower than the course record...i need work on hair pins. anyways this was a useless thread but i just wanted to gloat some more...btw kart racing is awsome...i would highly recoment it to those of you who dont want to put ur R into a wall like myself (well at least untill i have another car to have as a daily driver)

 

Heck yeah it's fun. By any chance do you weigh less than your friends? I've noticed when I've gone it seems to be the super skinny dudes that are really fast.

yea we were all pretty even in weight except my dad who prolly weighs in at 210 so it was pretty fair, and i was probably the 3rd heavyist

 

are you saying that just because you drive a R you did better at karting? if you haven't tracked or auto-xed your car then i highly doubt by just driving the R it would've made you better at karting. you just might to an overall better driver than your friends. i've been karting a lot more lately and it's fun as hell. we have 6.5 hp karts and they're fun as hell.

i beg to differ. taking the right line will make the biggest difference. i'll admit i've gotten my *** handed to me by guys way heavier.
