Mugen makes one and I think SMSP also makes one. Benefit would be the sound (its a lot quieter)

Not sure of any cons...?

Deeper sound and quieter. Mugen and Hytech makes one.

hytechs muffler comes out to be just over 400 bucks.
You can look around on ebay for twin loop exhausts. A friend of mine has a mugen knockoff on his lude and it looks/sounds great still after almost 2 years.

They flow like a cannister (N1-style) but are quiet like a chambered (stock) muffler. It's pretty much the best of both worlds, but you pay out the *** for it (Hytech muffler = $400).

Mugen & Hytech are the only companies that have an Integra application. DC Sports has their twin-cannister system, but it doesn't fit the Integra.

BTW, Mugen = 2 3/8", Hytech = 2 1/2". Make sure you get the size that best fits your goal.

The DC Sports design is simply 2 round mufflers. I wouldn't compare it to the Hytech and Mugen. I've heard both of those before in person, and the Mugen was definitely quieter. The Hytech wasn't that loud either. The Hytech sounds a bit like the old Greddy PE (Power Extreme). Both were on ITR's. The Mugen had header/cat and the Hytech had header/testpipe.

For those with the DC, how's the sound?

Xue, I was always under the impression that the DC TCS was two connected mufflers?

It is, sorry if I made it sound like it wasn't. But to be more clear, all the DC is is going into one muffler and into another. It doesn't "pass twice" through one single muffler like the Mugen and Hytech does. At least that's what I can tell from pictures. Never seen on in person before. So it makes me wonder how much quieter it actually is, if it was really designed with that intention. Or did they just want to make a "cool-looking" exhaust?

I just looked at all their mufflers and I do not see a twin-pass muffler. Perhaps you can show me a picture?

here is my mugen

I don't have a a pic showing the whole muffler like the above pic

I love this exhaust, but if I were buying a new exhaust I'd go with the hytech, simply for the increased size.

This is the discontinued Top Speed twin loop I have had for the last 3 years. Quiet and not sputtering raspy like a stock exhaust. When I took it off to mock up the Hytech muffler, it was damn loud and annoying without it. I don't think I'll ever use anything but a twin loop system for a street exhaust.

The piping is 2.368" OD and completely polished stainless steel. The loop tucks up into the bumper so you can't see it unless you look from underneath.

I always wanted it to hang higher, so I'm gonna bend the hangers down a bit on the ends to see if it'll pull up. Then it's up for sale when I put the Hytech one on.

i've seen the one you're talking about. supposedly, the closure engages/disengages depending on how much exhaust pressure is going through it. i actually think that it could be really good .. but i'm still waiting for someone to do a review on it. i don't think any of us has tried it yet.

That exhaust causes backpressure......stupid idea.

But the Hytech outflows the Mugen. The Mugen has a slight bottleneck before the muffler, the hytech doesn't have that bottleneck.
