Default i believe its time to change my fluid

transmission fluid to be exact..01 v4 automatic... should i purchase OEM fluid or just pick up some bottles at kragen..and what kind should i use?..thanks for the time

If your mileage is low, I recommend just doing a flush. This will actually do a more thorough fluid exchange than dropping the pan. You can get this done at a reputable oil change shop, like Oil Can Henry's.

If you have more than 50K miles, I would actually do BOTH a filter change AND a flush. Personally I alternate every 20K.

Also, you dont have a v4 you have an inline 4 cylinder.

no..no filter cuz i just got back from honda parts department.picked up the OEM fluid and they said theres no filter..just flush and put 2.5 quart back in..thanks for the suggestions and help
