Quick Koni Yellow Question
Are the rear shocks supposed to have the ring that goes over the circlip like the front ones do, or are the circlips held in only by the perch?. I can see where it would sit in place on the bottom of the perch but it doesn't seem as well secured as the fronts.
Thanks in advance

I think at some point they were redesigned. My Konis which I bought for my DC2 a little over 2 years ago have the rings on all 4 shocks (circlip, then ring, then spring perch). I think you can tell but looking at the size of the groove around the inner edge of the spring perch. If it looks like the groove is bigger than the circlip, then you probably need those rings. If the groove fits just right over the circlip, then you probably don't need the rings.
OK, thanks. They are brand new so should be the new design, they have a groove that is just the right fit for the circlip but it isn't very deep, i guess with the pressure from the spring they should be ok

Yes the spring usually holds everything in place, unless the perch is low enough that the spring might be loose (like is the case on my car). But when the assembly is on the car and the car is on the ground, the weight of the car compresses the spring/shocks assembly so it all stays in place.
Thanks, all installed now but ran over a nail so have to get my tire repaired before I can test them
The springs are captive so it should be fine, here in NZ it's illegal to have uncaptive springs anyway
