Hmmm, I dont pop my hood. If your gonna spend $3000 so people say whoa, you need help. I meant the money can be better spent on other all-motor stuff.

From what I have read, these do not work that well on a stock motor, as far as making power. On a 2.0 liter with I/H/E and cams, I have been told that they work o.k. A ported intake and a good throttle body will get you there, and will be easier to tune.

Who cares if they work..... based on the reasoning you have given, I think you should just custom mount them to your front grill or to the hood of your car. Then people would be really impressed .

BTW I have used the TODA's and they do work but it really depends on the application. As SuperDave stated there are better ITB on the market. You can check my profile to see what I recommend

they are bad ***, but not worth it to me. With the money they cost and the amount of tunning they require it becomes pretty pricey.

Toda ITBs are prolly the easiest bolt on to any stock motor. The only downside is the cost. They make more midrange torque than TWMs, custom 4AG and Mikuni converts, I've seen it on my own motors, not here-say.

UIsing the Todas on 2.0 liters and over will require boring on the inlet and manifold, but for a 1.6 or a 1.8 these things will scream past 10krpm, they even fit stock injectors, produce enough vaccum @ idle to run a stock ECU and is a typical bolt on. The hardest part is getting a toyota TPS plug to use, but oyu can simply use the pins form the stock Honda TPS plug.

The mounting of the fuel injectors makes the difference in midrange torque compared to your typical ITB injector placement.

The motor has to have pretty high compression in order to get the most out of them! Someone by be has the TWM's and Stand alone. Not sure if that is a necessary condition to run them !
